What is a Factory Inspection?
A Factory Inspection is a low cost alternative to the Recertification Program, as it follows the recommendations in the QAP.
What is included in the Factory Inspection Program?
- Basic adjustments
- Calibration
- Accuracy check
- Visual Inspection
Factory Inspection does NOT include any repairs the instrument may need, the two year warranty, or the ISO 17025 Accredited Certificate of Calibration. These Items are available through our Factory Recertification Program.
How do I schedule my instrument(s) for inspection?
Factory Inspection is available by appointment only.
To schedule your instrument for Factory Inspection, download the inspection form, complete all sections, and fax it to (314) 429-4170.
Intoximeters will send you a confirmation of your inspection date via email or fax, along with shipping instructions. Do not ship dry gas cylinders with your instrument per federal law. Please be sure to ship the instrument so that it arrives at our facility no later than 10:30 a.m. on the confirmed inspection date.
How long does it take?
The standard turnaround time for a Factory Inspection is one business day (from the confirmed inspection date) plus transit time.
